Winter Joy....

Happy Thursday!!! Wow, I just looked at today's date and I can't believe that in 10 days and it will be Christmas, where has it gone!! Now if my husband were here he would stop me and say...well in 11 and it will all be over!! What a way to think, and this is a guy whose birthday is New Year's Eve...that is why he anxiously awaits Christmas to be over. I know I hate to see it come to an end...I definitly miss not hearing the Christmas music 24/7 on the radio. That is the one thing that I LOVE about the holiday, when the music is played on the radio ALL the time!! I know it drives my husband CRAZY, but yet when we go somewhere together, he is sweet enough to put the radio station on the Christmas channel without me asking!!!

Well, I thought I would share this sweet card with you that I made. Thanks to Pinterest for the idea, I was able to recreate my own card!! Maybe next year I will be able to start in July and actually get my Christmas cards made early!! This just might be what I do for next year!!

This card was very simple and fun to make. I just took 3 different sized circle punches and glued the biggest circle down and then popped the medium circle and layered from there. The arms are actually from a CTMH stamp set that I stamped in brown and then cut out. I don't know the stamp set name for sure, but its the one that you can create different snowflakes with. Cut a little piece of scrap orange paper and draw the eyes, mouth and buttons!!! So simple but yet so so cute!!! This would be cute for a child to make for their teacher!! The "Winter Joy" is a stamp from Unity Stamp Company, one of my FAVORITE stamp companies!!! They are so great to stamp with and I always seem to get a crisp image!! The paper is from Echo Park from the 2010 collection Wintertime...I love the colors!!!

Well, I hope you enjoyed this card that I shared with you today!! This is how our snowmen around here are all looking after the rain we had yesterday...the snow is now all gone. I will be back hopefully tomorrow with another post, if not...this weekend!!! Thanks for stopping!!

Blessings & Hope...

Misty
