Odds & Ends!!

Happy Weekend!! It was so nice to be able to not to have to set the alarm for 4:15am today! I hope you all are able to get some things done. Here the weather was gorgeous, we even had our windows open and enjoyed some of that fresh air. Oh how I have missed that!

So today, it has been 8 months since my husband had his gastric weight loss surgery. He started at 561lbs and is now down to 333lbs. And look....he is able to fit into one leg of his old shorts!! Isn't that AMAZING!! I think he even shocked himself. So this is his 8 month photo...

Friday I will start my 10 day liquid diet...YAY!! That starts the beginning of my journey, and I only hope I do as well as he has. Thankfully, I have him beside me to help me....talk about a great support system.

So as far as creating...I wanted to share some things that I have worked on in the past few weeks. This is a canvas art that I did for an order. It was a memorial canvas and she wanted it done in black and white. I was very pleased with it, even though the pictures are a little dark.

This is another order I had. It was to do a name on a wooden sign with the saying. She knew exactly everything that she wanted on it, so it was pretty easy to do! Of course, I was nervous when I went to do the saying and name....making sure everything fit just perfect!!

And of course, making sure I didn't misspell anything!!!

This is a HOPE canvas that I created. It is only 5"x7" but I wanted to make something with HOPE. I collect anything and everything with HOPE, and when I read this saying, I just fell in love with it.... When the world says, "Give Up." Hope whispers, "Try it one more time."

Well thats all I have for today, I haven't had a chance to get into the craft room....but am hoping to tomorrow. I was able to get my hands on some FREE vintage music sheets...YESS!! So I am wanting to work with some of that....so I will post when I am done creating!

I hope you all get a chance to enjoy the weekend and spend time with family and friends!!

Blessings & Hope...

Misty
